Welcome to the Oceanography page
Oceanography is considered an Earth Science II course, and as such, completion of Earth Science is required. This area is steeped in beautiful coastal regions, and is a source of jobs, food, and recreation for us all. Students will learn how the oceans were formed, how humans interact with the oceans, the chemistry of ocean water, and the life that lives in it. On this page, you will find information about my earth science courses. I will be posting information about upcoming tests and projects in addition to uploading class assignments. These items will be grouped into the appropriate 9 weeks.
*Unless Suffolk Public Schools changes the final exam exemption policy, only seniors who earn an 80 average or better (A's and B's) for both the first and second semester will have the opportunity to be exempt from the final exam. Everyone else will be required to the final exam on the scheduled exam date unless given administrative approval prior to the exam date. This is due to oceanography being a non-sol course. This information is current as of 6/15/15 and is subject to change.
